Picture day procedures

Participation in the picture day is not mandatory. 

Location

130 S. Church St., Studio 2B

The studio is located on the second floor. The front door is located directly across from The Table restaurant. You will see a yard sign on the sidewalk near the door.

Arrival Time

Please arrive no later than 10 minutes before the picture time. You will fill out a release and make your payment (Venmo, Paypal, Credit Card, or Check). Remember to have dancers dressed and ready for their pictures. If help is needed, please talk to the teacher before picture day and arrive earlier than the scheduled time.

Student line up

Parents can wait in the studio in the parent waiting area next to the backdrop. Parents are asked to sit in the waiting area as not to be a distraction to the dancers and photographers. 

COVID PROCEDURES

There will be hand-sanitizer. We will socially distance with parents and children.

FAQ

What does my child wear for picture day? 

Dancers will wear their costumes, tights, hair, and light make-up for picture day. Any further questions feel free to ask the office or the dancer's teacher prior to the photo day.

Does my child need make-up?

Dancers do need make up because the flash of the camera can make their faces look pale or even ghostly. Light make-up is always best for Picture day and darker for the Recital. If you have any further questions, email Mrs. Tiffany.

What if my child has multiple outfits?

Please book multiple sessions if you have full costume changes and wish to have different outfits photographed. If you are in preschool or kindergarten, you can switch out bottoms in one session. Each outfit change is considered a session and will be priced accordingly.

PRICING

Each $25 session/outfit will produce (1) 8x10 high-quality print with an option to purchase a web-size digital photo for an additional $10. The included print can be picked up at Studio J. If you add the optional, professionally edited, digital, web-size image for an extra $10, it will be emailed to you to share with family and friends. Any additional or large format prints can be ordered at a later date through Hello Cheetah. Digital downloads are not permitted for printing purposes.
